Unless you're a developer, like me, who did most of the work in making the game as a whole, no. If you try to back up your save data, you may run the risk of downgrading your new copy of the game, if not doing something terribly wrong that could corrupt both copies of the software. If you really wish to have your save data backed up, please go to my website and leave a comment on the page that comes up telling me that you wish to have me back up your game data. I'd be only the happiest to do it for you. I'll give you instructions on how to upload it to our server so that I can then back it up for you and send the resulting file back to you in an email. Please: don't try it at home. In other words, don't try to back up your game data unless you are a PowerPoint game developer or unless you have me help you. It is very tricky work, and most often times, when done incorrectly, it can destroy both your old game data and your fresh new copy of The Fims! Thanks for your understanding, and I'll be open for back up requests from here on out!
